I am currently wearing a tank top, a t-shirt, and two hoodies. I anticipated it being colder out that it was.
HAPPY NEW YEAR y’all! Last night was full of drunker people that was anticipated… and more sober people than anticipated. I also did all of that without eating dinner… again. I have to stop that. I need things to soak up some alcohol. All I had in my belly was a few cookies.
I made them with cake mix! I had some cake mix on hand from when I made birthday cake rice krispy treats. These turned out great! I used this recipe.. but with no add ins. It’d be great with sprinkles to indicate the birthday cakedness.

And Lime! There was also blueberry and cranberry, but I stopped taking pictures pretty much the moment I started drinking.. so, yeah.
And in keeping with the tradition of being a bit dorky, we rang in the new year playing the least organized game of munchkin ever.
We tried to turn it into a drinking game, but that resulted in one person yacking, another person taking care of him, and someone wandering off. By the end, I was playing for 4 people (including myself).
I maintain that January 1st is a terrible day to start new years resolutions- if you’re hung over, you might want a greasy breakfast, you might not want to exercise, and you might not even be starting your year at home. *shrug* oh well.
Dunkin’ Donuts has turkey sausage now, so I had that for breakfast. I also stopped and grabbed some gatorade for the household. And apparently, it’s easter.

Mmmm cakey cookies… We have cake mix in the cupboard… Nope, not gonna do it! Sounds really good, though. Whoa, Easter candy already? What, did they just decide to skip over Valentine’s Day? They should just have all the holiday goodies on sale all year long. Why not? It seems like Christmas comes in August these days. If Easter comes in January, they might as well.
Next time you have to bring desserts somewhere…. do the cake cookies! I want to try a double chocolate one.. And yeah.. I assumed there would be heart-shaped things before egg-shaped things.. not that I’m complaining- easter is my favorite candy holiday!!

He WAS a big mess and is exactly like Jon! I had just dealt with a puking Jon a week earlier- I could hardly deal with another one! And it’s cool that you didn’t drink! I drank WAY more than I had planned. I blame Jon.
